The Face of the Brand
Branding is so much more than a snappy font with some nice colors. True branding means cohesion
across platforms, a style that visually represents the mood and goals of a brand identity. The entire process of branding from the ground up is exhilarating and challenging, and it can be wonderfully rewarding when utilized with mindfulness.
I've successfully rebranded several brands across Becker Brands, as well as the identity for the local LGBT+ pride organization Pride St. Charles. In developing a new identity for Pride, I'm able to affirm the identities of others, and hopefully make the world a happier and more accepting place. Through these efforts, I was recently accepted in the position of the head of design and merchandising for Pride St. Charles, a passion project I can say I am truly proud of.
Case Study: Grand Sierra
Grand Sierra is the proprietary brand of Becker Brands, and the primary area I've worked on for the company. When I arrived at Becker Brands in 2016, Grand Sierra was seriously lacking some love. I've worked and reworked the logo with the direction of the company president and created several iterations of the brand identity.

Case Study: Think Medical
For the Think Medical brand, a solid logo was already in place when I arrived to the job, so the only thing that needed special attention was social media. We had a lovely logo, but there was no personality in any of the media surrounding the logo. After some experimentation, I arrived at a palette and set of typefaces that worked well with the brand mood and have been pushing posts to our various social media outlets utilizing this new eye catching style.
